Your Diet Food Program - The Role Of Fiber and Soya Isolate

By Flor Serquina
Obesity has become one of the biggest health problems of the world today afflicting both children and adults. For example, hospitals in the US have discarded their old wheelchairs, hospital beds and hospital gowns because today's patients have become too fat to fit into them.
Diseases related to obesity and lowered immune systems such as hypertension, diabetes, high blood pressure and heart attacks have been rising and onset of these conditions are becoming more common for younger people.
Malignant obesity is a medical term which refers to obesity caused by too much consumption of fast foods in today's busy world. Fast food chains have become big business as people find less and less time to prepare their own food. Food served in fast food chains, as well as the no-cook-just-add-hot-water items in grocery shelves have become very popular.
These fast foods, however, tend to have very low nutritional value and high cholesterol and can account for much of a person's weight gain and lowering of the body's immune system.
This problem of obesity has resulted in a proliferation of diet food programs in the market. So if you are considering going on a diet food program, it would be wise to do a lot of research before choosing the diet food program that is right for you.
You need to search for the most effective, beneficial and affordable diet food program and avoid those which have been found to be ineffective, expensive and detrimental to people's health. Taste can also be an important consideration.
A good diet food program must target the body on a cellular nutrition level. There must be components in the diet food program, such as fiber, that will promote cleansing. Having fiber in our diet ensures that the body is able to flush out toxins from the food and drugs that we consume.
You may also need to look at a diet food program that includes only organically grown foods without the use of pesticides and insecticides. You will need to read labels carefully to avoid genetically modified food which may not be good for your long term health.
Consider a diet food program rich in protein. Talk to your doctor and establish if a protein-rich-diet is good for you. Then decide whether you want to get your protein from animal products or from soya considered to be one of the best sources of protein.
Some nutritionists say that a good diet food program must include soya isolate which is soya in its pure state. It is said that soya isolate may not only promote weight loss. It may be beneficial as well especially to people that suffer from inflammation inside the body and to menopausal women in alleviating hot flushes.
